Julia Trickey is an award winning UK botanical artist and experienced tutor, whose glowing watercolours depict the beauty and detail of nature.
She has been painting botanical watercolours for many years, has exhibited all around the world and has received numerous awards for her botanical watercolours including four RHS gold medals. In 2014 her British Flora illlustrations could be seen on Royal Mail Post & Go stamps.
Julia is an experienced tutor, teaching regular classes in the beautiful historic English city of Bath as well as leading workshops for botanical art groups further afield. She has written practical articles for national magazines as well as botanical art instructional leaflets and cards.
The tutorials here are based on watercolour theories and ideas developed over many years, for these classes and groups.
